Kozani Municipal Development Company S.A. is a Local Government Development Organization in the form of a Special Purpose Public Limited Company, under the corporate name “Kozani Municipal Development Company S.A. – Local Government Development Organization” and the distinctive title “AN.DI.KO. S.A. – L.G.D.O.”.
The Company was established by the Municipalities of Kozani and Velvento.
The Company is governed by the provisions of Article 2 of Law 4674/2020 “Strategic Development Perspective of Local Government Organizations, regulation of issues under the competence of the Ministry of Interior and other provisions”. It is also subject to the provisions of Law 3463/2006 (Articles 225, 252, 253, 265, and 268), the provisions on Public Limited Companies of Codified Law 2190/1920, as amended and in force, Law 3604/2007 “Reform and amendment of the codified law 2190/1920 on public limited companies and other provisions”, and Law 4548/2018 “Reform of the Law on Public Limited Companies”.

The purpose of the Company is:

• The scientific, consulting, and technical support of the Municipalities of Velvento and Kozani, as well as other first- and second-level Local Government Organizations (LGOs) and their associations.
  

• The implementation of development policies through the utilization of financial instruments and the management of development, investment, and special programs funded by national or European Union resources; the planning and maturation of infrastructure projects; and the implementation of social cohesion policies, as well as policies aimed at mitigating the effects of the economic crisis at municipal, inter-municipal, or broader regional level.
